Seasons computes the current season locally from the equinox and solstice dates — no API, no keys, no network. The hero retints itself with the season (green for spring, amber for summer, copper for autumn, blue for winter), and the strip below shows all four at a glance with the current one lit.
Set your country and city and the hemisphere takes care of itself — Sydney gets spring while Cairo gets autumn. Prefer the simpler meteorological calendar (Mar 1, Jun 1, Sep 1, Dec 1)? It's one switch.
Leave Hemisphere on Auto and it follows the selected country — override it only for equatorial edge cases. Astronomical uses the real equinox/solstice dates (±1 day); Meteorological uses fixed calendar months.
