The card becomes the sky.
Eight color keyframes anchor the day at pre-dawn, dawn, morning, midday, afternoon, sunset, dusk, and night. Between each pair the top and bottom sky colors are linearly interpolated in RGB so transitions melt instead of snap. The sun arcs across the daytime sky on a sin-wave path; the moon takes the night arc; forty stars twinkle in around 19:00 and out by 06:00; three clouds drift past at three different speeds.
Everything is local-clock driven — no fetches, no API keys, no quotas. Toggle speed=demo for previews and the full 24-hour cycle compresses into a 60-second loop.
